Living it up
So my 2 weeks of laziness has started. It feels great to have nothing to worry about at work and just relax. Today was definitely one of those days. I woke up to Matt calling me at 11:30 to ask me a question about formatting his computer. Since I have nothing better to do and it was about 200 degrees today, I went to the pool and attempted to get some sun. Maybe next time I'll actually talk to any of the hot girls who are there laying out by the pool. However, I need some excuse to talk to them, so if you have any ideas, let me know.
I got back from the pool and my friend Paul from back home called to tell me he was in town visiting his brother and sister-in-law. They asked me to meet up with them for dinner on the plaza, so we ended up going to pizzeria Uno. Good stuff, but definitely not Gino's East. After that, they talked me into seeing a really horrible waste of film reel known as 'Herbie Full Throttle'. There was only one thing keeping me watching and I think we all know what that is, yep Lindsey Lohan. I might go golfing with Paul and his brother tomorrow, but it is going to be 200 again, and that's just not golfing weather. Maybe I'll go though so I can get a round in and practice. I'm sure I still suck horribly.
I ended up finally watching Ocean's 12 last night. I had heard not so great of things about it, but I thought it was decent. Definitely not the first one, but it was still pretty good. I thought parts of it were kind of hard to follow and besides the main players, I kinda forgot who was who. Parts of it reminded me of The Italian Job, but overall, I'd watch it again. I burned it, so sometime I'll probably watch it again. That means I have Coach Carter coming to me. I love Netflix. I highly recommend it, and plus it is only $10/month. It is hard to pass up, however Blockbuster has somewhat redeemed itself by bringing back the instock guarantee.
Alright, well I'm out for now.
